Westmoreland Children First provides critical programs to improve the lives of children and families in our community. Through the gala and contributions from our sponsors, hundreds of children and families have received additional resources to improve the quality of their lives. These programs are designed to address essential needs, foster development, and create a safer and more supportive environment for children. 

The Annual Wine and Chocolate Gala has raised roughly $20,000 annually for essential needs not covered by governmental funds, such as beds & bed linens, Christmas gifts, and our annual duffle bag program. Additionally, WCF also provides funeral expenses, tuition for children to attend Saint Vincent Summer Camp, expenses for Adoption Day and the Foster Family Picnic, updates to the Comfort Room in the Westmoreland County Courthouse, supplies families with free clothing from The Community Closet and supports Child Abuse Prevention month.
